HGV Class 1 (C+E) Ro-Ro Driver Nights
Location: Knowsley, L33
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off nights (5th shift worked every third rotation)
Hours: Up to 46 hours per week
Pay: From £42,000 per annum + bonuses

About the Role
We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for night shifts based in Knowsley (L33). You will be operating articulated Roll-on Roll-off (Ro-Ro) hook loader vehicles, carrying out exchanges of skips and compactors.

No two nights are the same, and this is a hands-on, physical role that suits drivers who enjoy operating specialist equipment and working independently.

Full training will be provided, however previous hook loader / Ro-Ro experience is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out safe and efficient skip and compactor exchanges

  • Operate articulated Ro-Ro hook loader vehicles

  • Complete vehicle checks and paperwork

  • Communicate effectively with transport and site teams

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

  • Previous hook loader or Ro-Ro experience (preferred)

  • Willingness to learn and develop

  • Confident, proactive and enjoys a challenge

  • Good communication skills

  • Technically minded

  • Friendly and flexible approach

Requirements

  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

  • No more than 6 points (no DR or DD endorsements)
