Job Title:Class 1 Tanker Driver
Location:Rugby
Pay Rate:£19.00 to £22.56 p/h
Working Hours:Monday to Friday
Experience:12 months Class 1 essential
Assessment:Yes - required before start (full Tanker training provided)
Fifth Wheel Recruitment are looking for Class1 Drivers inRugby to work with our client, who manufactures and distributes cement, ready-mix concrete and aggregates.
Employee Benefits:
Competitive Salary: £19.00 to £22.56 p/h
Days 19.00 per hour (Holiday Pay: £2.29 per hour if paid on top (£21.29 total if requested))
Nights £20.13 per hour (Holiday Pay: £2.43 per hour if paid on top (£22.56 total if requested))
Immediate Starts:Begin earning immediately
Weekly Pay:Payday every Friday

Class 1 Tanker Driver - Role & Responsibilities:
  • Operating HGV Class 1 Tanker (Tanker training provided if required)
  • Routine vehicle checks and maintaining trailer and cab cleanliness
  • Ensuring all loads are placed and secured correctly
  • Completing daily paperwork accurately
  • All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

About you:
You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not acceptDD, TT, DR, CD, INendorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.
Previous experience working with cement/aggregates would be beneficial.
You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
