Driver Hire Southampton are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Drivers to join our clients which specialises in general haulage deliveries. Information about this Class 1 position: AD HOC work (between Monday to Friday) Delivering palletised goods on a Class 1 curtain sider Trailer swaps, trunk runs Day and night shifts 10-12 hour days Pallets are loaded and unloaded for you with FLT Communicating with Transport Office, following provided routes, completing all relevant paperwork correctly Requirements from you as a Class 1 Driver: Full UK Class 1 licence with valid CPC and Digi card Minimum of 1 year experience driving a Class 1 vehicle Great communication skills Experience with curtain side trailers/ general haulage deliveries/ strapping Own transport to commute to and from work Fantastic time keeping and communications skills Complete daily vehicle checks Comply with the companies health and safety procedures Record Tacho hours correctly Benefits of a Class 1 Driver working for Driver Hire Southampton: Weekly pay PAYE or PAYE Advanced payment methods Onsite parking CPC and licence upgrading with Driver Hire Training Consistent communication with our dedicated in-house team
