M4 Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV 1 Drivers for our client in Colnbrook. This role is essential to ensuring efficient logistics and the timely transport of goods between depots and distribution centers.
Shift & Duties:
Hours: NIGHT SHIFT - START TIMES BETWEEN 1800 to 0000
Weekly Hours: 8 - 10 HOUR SHIFTS
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - Saturday overtime available.
Competitive Pay Rates:
Weekdays (08:00 - 19:00) £19.00
Weeknights (19:00 - 08:00) £21.65
Saturday Days (08:00 - 19:00) £20.18
Saturday Nights (19:00 - 08:00) £22.89
Overtime £28.50 after working 40 hours a week.
Bank Holidays £38.00
Key Responsibilities:
Trunking Operations: Safely complete assigned trunking routes, ensuring timely deliveries.
Vehicle Inspections: Conduct pre- and post-trip checks, reporting any defects.
Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including delivery notes and logbooks.
Communication: Keep the logistics team updated on delivery progress and any issues.
Professionalism: Provide excellent customer service and represent the company positively.
Requirements:
Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) License
Minimum 1 year of Class 1 driving experience
No more than 6 points on license
Clean DBS check
Level D / Cargo Operative training(can be completed online)
5-year employment history for background verification
