Job Title: Class 1 Driver with HIAB (ALLMI Brick & Hook)
Location:Newport
Pay Rates: £16.80 to £24.17 p/h
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (05:00/06:00 start times)
Driver: Class 1
Experience: 12 months Class 1essential
Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for Class 1 Drivers in Newportto work with our client, who is one of the UK's leading supplier of hard landscaping, building, and roofing products.
To be considered for this role you will need to be qualified in HIAB and ALLMI brick & hook.

HGV Class 1 Driver - the role & responsibilities:
  • Driving a Class 1 (articulated or drawbar)
  • Delivering concrete products to Builders Merchants & large Building Sites
    • Occassional deliveries to residential areas when driving a drawbar crane
  • Industry standard vehicle checks

About you:
You will have your Class 1 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially with HIAB and ALLMI. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card.Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
As a professional driver you will have a good understanding of the Drivers Hours WTD and be able to manage your hours accordingly.
You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
