Class 1 Driver

Here at HireGiant we are currently recruitingfor Class 1 Driversfor a well-established logistics client based inGloucester. This is anopportunityoffering weekday work, clean box-trailer driving, and an enhanced pay structure after 12 weeks.


As aClass 1 Driver, your duties will include:

  • Delivering goods toretail stores, RDCs, and distribution depots

  • Operatingbox trailer articulated vehicles

  • Completingtrunking, store deliveries, and depot-to-depot runs

  • Ensuring allPODs and delivery paperworkare completed accurately

  • Carrying outdaily vehicle checksand defect reporting

  • No handball clean, organised Class 1 work.


Hours & Pay:

  • Monday to Friday work

  • Start times between 11:00am - 11:30am

  • 812 hour shifts

  • £15.28 per hour PAYE

  • After 12 weeks: pay rise + overtime up to £24.50

  • Weekly pay every Friday

Requirements:

ValidClass 1 (Category C+E) Licence
ValidCPC & Digital Tachograph Card
PreviousClass 1 driving experiencepreferred
Experience delivering tostores or RDCsdesirable
Maximum6 points(no DR, DD, IN)
Safety boots & hi-vis
