I am currently recruiting class 1 drivers for my client in Belfast.

- Monday to Friday
- 42.5 hours per week
- Hourly Rate: £17 per hour
- 7.30am to 5.00pm
- Early starts, occasional overtime and weekend work may be required
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
The role will involve:
Driving & Operations
- Operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle to complete daily waste collections, including commercial, industrial, and environmental waste streams.
- Ensure safe loading, transportation and tipping of waste materials.
- Complete daily route sheets, delivery notes and digital records accurately.
- Report vehicle defects immediately and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Sort and segregate waste as necessary to comply with recycling and disposal regulations. xbpsjku
Essential
- Valid HGV Class 1 license
- Valid CPC card
- Digital Tachograph card
- Experience in driving large goods vehicles
Desirable
- Previous experience in waste management, recycling, drainage, tanker operations or environmental services
- ADR certification (Packages or Tankers)
- Ability to operate lifting equipment, bin lifts, suction/vacuum tankers, or other specialist vehicles (training can be provided)
