Our Customer

Our long established logistics client based near Chesterfield Derbyshire has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis.

Job Description.

Work involves Class 1 HGV Driving Trunking work across the UK to RDC's, Manufacturing Sites or similar types of site across the UK. Also you may be required to Hub Run work as well, all work involves very limited or no handballing at all.

This is ongoing Monday to Friday work, start times around 1700pm to 1900pm each evening

Licence requirements:

  • HGV Class 1 Licence
  • Up to date CPC for your Class 1
  • Up to date Digi card for your Class 1

You Must:

  • Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic
  • Be punctual
  • Smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no Jeans etc.)
  • Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard
  • Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shift

Salary

  • Monday to Friday Nights per hour: £17.00 ph (PAYE), £19.00 ph (Inc Holiday Pay Via our Umbrella Paye)
  • The above rates areeither PAYE or Umbrella, please see above accordingly
  • Weekend work paid at higher rates
