Pertemps have an excellent opportunity for Class 1 HGV Shunter Drivers on days to work for our client at East Midlands Gateway. As a Shunter driver you will ensure yard movements are done correctly and support the smooth running of the operation. There is a strong possibility this role will turn permanent with our client.

Shift Patterns / Working Hours:
+ 4 on 4 off
+ Days - 0630 to 1830

The successful Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver will:
+ Have a valid Class 1 License for a minimum of 6 months
+ Have a valid tacho and DQC card
+ Previous experience as a shunter is preferred
+ Have a positive can do attitude

Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver will include:
+ Moving trailers or units around the yard
+ Ensure safety of others in the yard

You will receive:
+ STD - £16.38 per hour
+ OT - £24.57 per hour
