About the Role As a Class 1 Driver, you will: Carry out a variety of transport duties, including long-distance and pallet network trunking, multi-drop deliveries, and operating curtain-sided trailers, with flexibility to meet changing workloads. Provide transport services for multiple depot-based customers, ensuring their handling and delivery requirements are met professionally. Operate curtain-sided and refrigerated vehicles, ensuring correct loading, secure transport, and temperature control where needed. Complete thorough daily vehicle checks using the company mobile device and report any defects promptly. Stay in regular contact with the transport team to give progress updates, highlight delays or issues, and support effective customer service. Essential Skills and Qualifications Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence. Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous. Passionate about providing excellent customer service. Ability to work to deadlines. Confident, polite, and a team player. Good geographical knowledge. Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
