About the Role As a Class 1 Driver, you will: Will be working out of North Tawton, Cullompton and Ernesettle depots as and when required. Take on the challenge of collecting and delivering customers' products throughout the UK on a curtain-sided trailer. Master the art of load security with ratchet straps and part manual handling, ensuring every delivery is safe and secure. Leverage a handheld PDA to complete paperwork seamlessly and efficiently. Keep in constant contact with the transport team, offering updates on your progress and ensuring our customers' expectations are consistently met. Experience the thrill of nights away, making each journey unique and fulfilling. Engage in regular training sessions to stay updated with the latest industry standards and best practices, continuously improving your skills. Essential Skills and Qualifications Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence. Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous. Passionate about providing excellent customer service. Ability to work to deadlines. Confident, polite, and a team player. Good geographical knowledge. Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
