Job description: Class 2 Driver - Cormar Carpets Bellshill Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for a change? Would you like to work for a market leading company with fantastic benefits? Here at GXO Logistics , we are looking for a full-time, permanent HGV Class 2 Lorry Driver to join our home delivery team in Bellshill for our customer, Cormar Carpets. You will be responsible fordelivering large productsto customer premises. You will be contracted to work 50 hours per week,working Monday to Friday , starting between 05:00 07:00 . Permanent employment contract with an ever evolving and growing market leader What youll do on a typical day: Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle while following all road traffic laws and company/vehicle regulations Complete 520 daily drops with accurate, timely delivery of customer products, reporting defects or exceptions promptly Support loading operations, including positioning vehicles on bays and delivering demountable boxes and paperwork to out-bases Provide excellent customer service and take ownership of any delivery-related issues Carry out vehicle checks, follow safe working practices, self-manage effectively, xehkeey and fully debrief with the traffic office on return What you need to succeed at GXO: A full UK driving licence with category Class 2 entitlement Class 1 licence would be advantageous A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC) Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card No more than 6 current penalty points No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains
