Class 2 Night Driver Birstall (Temp to Perm)

Pay: £16.91 per hour
Location: Birstall
Shifts: Night Shifts | Start between 15:00 17:00

Recruit A Driver are seeking a dependable Class 2 Night Driver to join a reputable client in Birstall on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers experienced with refrigerated deliveries, offering a chance to join a stable and supportive team.

The Role

  • Operate Class 2 refrigerated vehicles safely and efficiently

  • Deliver timed cage loads to stores across Yorkshire and the North East

  • Unload/handball cage deliveries at customer locations

  • Use handheld devices to manage and confirm deliveries

  • Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects

  • Maintain the vehicle in a clean and roadworthy condition

  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures

Shift Pattern

  • Start times between 15:00 17:00

  • Work 4 nights out of 7 on a repeating 7-week rota

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) UK licence (held for at least 18 months)

  • Recent Class 2 driving experience (within the last 612 months)

  • Maximum 6 points on licence (minor offences only)

  • Up-to-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

  • Professional, reliable approach with strong timekeeping
