Pay Rate: £14.78 per hour
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, with start times between 07:00 – 09:00.
Shifts typically last 8–10 hours per day.
Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a dependable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our operation in Normanton, West Yorkshire. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering a permanent role after a successful 12-week period.
The role involves completing bulk collections of various items from multiple locations and returning them to the depot for redistribution.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out bulk collections efficiently and safely
Load and unload goods where required
Return collected items to the depot for redistribution
Complete all relevant paperwork accurately
Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
Maintain high standards of safety and professionalism at all times
Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card
No more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DD, or DR endorsements)
Good understanding of UK driving laws and regulations
