Flexible People Ltdare currently recruiting both days and nights Class 2drivers for multidrop deliveries of frozen and chilled foods to customer premises for one of their prestigious clients based in Grantham. This is a physically demanding role and is best suited for Class 2 drivers who are comfortable with manual handling and working in cold conditions.

The rate of pay for the day shift is 18.20ph.

The rate of pay for the night shift is 20.02ph

The company operate 7 days a week, you will be offered a 5 or 6 day rota. Weekend work will be involved. The Role The Class to driver will complete multidrop deliveries of frozen and chilled food products

Significant handball involved , including moving full pallets into customer premises

Working in freezer and chilled environments

Early starts and physically intensive shifts

This role requires a good level of fitness and a strong work ethic. Training & Onboarding Successful Class 2 candidates will complete one week of in-store training

Followed by buddying with an experienced driver for several days to ensure full competency

Uniform will be provided after completion of the initial 13-week probation period

Candidates must provide their own suitable cold-weather clothing during probation

Each interview can last up to 3 hours and it will include Driving assessment

Face-to-face interview

Written test (mainly CPC-based questions)

Essential Requirements Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence

CPC and tachograph card

Comfortable with heavy manual handling

Willing to work in frozen and chilled environments

Appropriate PPE for interview/assessment day

Documents to Bring to Interview Hi-vis jacket/vest

Gloves

Steel toe-cap footwear You must have a valid UK License, CPC and Digitacho, no more than 6 points on your driving license. No DD, DR or NI convictions.
