Join Our Team as a Class 2 Driver in Tamworth Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for consistent daytime work with long-term potential? Were recruiting a professional Class 2 Driver in Tamworth to join a well-established general haulage operation.
This is a full-time Class 2 Driver role offering 38 national drops per day , delivering palletised goods to business customers. Youll be working with curtain sided vehicles, with deliveries either forklifted off or handballed where required. Its an ideal role for a Class 2 Driver seeking stable weekday work and a temp to perm opportunity.
Key Responsibilities Class 2 Driver Safely operate a Class 2 (Cat C) curtain sider vehicle on scheduled routes

Complete 38 deliveries per day across national routes

Deliver palletised goods to business customers

Assist with unloading where required (forklift or manual)

Carry out daily vehicle checks and complete delivery paperwork

Follow all driver hours, WTD, and road safety regulations

Communicate effectively with the transport office

Requirements Class 2 Driver Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence

Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

Previous general haulage experience preferred

Comfortable with curtain sider work and load securing

Must wear appropriate PPE (safety boots and hi-vis)

Reliable, professional, and safety-focused
