Job Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our client based in Hythe. This role involves delivering palletised goods via a Palletline network, ensuring timely and professional service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out multi-drop deliveries and collections of palletised freight
* Ensure all deliveries are completed efficiently and within scheduled timeframes
* Safely load and unload goods using tail lift and pump truck where required
* Complete all relevant paperwork and PODs accurately
* Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
* Provide a high level of customer service at all delivery points
* Adhere to all driving laws, tachograph regulations, and health & safety procedures
Requirements
* Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
* Previous multi-drop or pallet network experience preferred
* Good geographical knowledge
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
Working Hours
* Start time: 08:00 AM
* Monday to Friday (some flexibility may be required)
