HGV Class 2 Grab Driver Immediate Start
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Grab Driver to join a busy and growing team in the Blackburn. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled driver looking for steady weekday work with the potential for a permanent position.
This role involves operating a brick grab / grab lorry to collect and deliver materials to construction sites and commercial customers. The successful candidate will be confident operating the grab and comfortable working independently while maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operating an HGV Class 2 Grab Lorry
Using a brick grab to load and unload materials
Delivering and collecting materials from construction sites and businesses
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring vehicle safety
Completing delivery paperwork where required
Providing a professional service to customers on site
Requirements
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Experience operating a brick grab is essential
Good understanding of driver hours and road safety
Reliable, professional, and punctual
What We Offer
£14 £17 per hour depending on experience
Monday to Friday work no weekends required
Minimum 40 hours per week
