We are looking for a reliable and professionalClass 2 HGV Driverto join our Northampton-basedclient. This is a hands-on role combining safe, compliant driving with customer-facing deliveries and branch support. Key responsibilities include:Confirming delivery instructions, planning routes and meeting delivery schedulesCompleting delivery paperwork accurately and reporting any discrepancies or returnsObtaining customer or branch signatures for deliveries and internal transfersReporting road restrictions, delivery issues,accidentsor incidents promptlyDriving safely and professionally in line with all legal and company requirementsCarrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting mechanical or safety issuesSupervising vehicle loading to ensure loads are secure, within weight limits and sequenced correctlyEnsuring vehicles display relevant licence discs,accreditationsand safety signageThis list is notexhaustive,and duties may vary depending on local requirements.
