Role: HGV Class 2 Driver Salary: £16.82 per hour including holiday pay (£15.00 with accrued holiday pay) Location: South Manchester, Salford, Trafford Park, Urmston, Irlam and Carrington Work Pattern: Full time, contract, temporary, or part-time to suit We are currently recruiting 2 x HGV Class 2 Driver for a well-established flooring company based in South Manchester. They require three temporary (working 5-days per week), customer facing HGV Class 2 driver on a long-term contract with the honest possibility of a FULL TIME PERMANENT ROLE on successful completion of probationary period. The successful Class 2 Driver will need to be enthusiastic, reliable, and physically fit as this is a demanding role. Carrying out approximately 10-15 deliveries per day of carpets, laminate flooring etc, to retail outlets around the northwest. Start time is 07:00 am to approx. 16:00 with some overtime. Please note, there may be some longer days required to complete deliveries. HGV Class 2 Driver responsibilities: * Maintaining regular contact with Transport/Branch Managers on daily progress * Securing loads, understanding height restrictions and legal height limits * Driving vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws * Daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance * Completing paperwork accurately as instructed HGV Class 2 Driver requirements: * No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT'...
