Pay: £15.00 – £28.00 per hour

CareerMakers Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver to work on motorway projects across Liverpool and the surrounding areas.

This role involves night work on live motorway sites operating modern Scania road sweepers as part of highway maintenance and resurfacing projects.

Working Hours

* Monday to Friday – Night shifts

* Typical start times between 18:00 – 20:00 (project dependent)

* Overtime and occasional weekend work may be available

The Role

* Operating Scania road sweepers on motorway and highway projects

* Supporting resurfacing and road planing operations

* Working alongside highways teams on live carriageways

* Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting

* Ensuring compliance with strict motorway health & safety procedures

Essential Requirements

* Valid Class 2 (Category C) Licence

* Minimum 2 years’ Class 2 driving experience

* Valid CPC Qualification

* Valid Digital Tachograph Card

* Highway Passport

* CSCS Card

* Safety Critical Medical (in date)

* Previous road sweeper or highway experience preferred

* Flexible, reliable and safety-conscious approach
