Classroom Assistant – Mainstream Primary School (Worthing)

Location: Worthing, West Sussex Contract: 08:30-15:30 | Monday-Friday | Term-Time Only Salary: £80 - £93 a day Start Date: April

We are currently recruiting for a Classroom Assistant to join a friendly and supportive mainstream primary school in Worthing. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children and supporting their learning and development within a positive school environment.

As a Classroom Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the classroom, helping to create an engaging and inclusive learning experience. Your role may involve supporting children with their learning activities, assisting with classroom organisation, working with small groups, and providing additional support to pupils who may need extra help to stay focused and confident in their work.

The successful candidate will be patient, enthusiastic, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff. Previous experience working with children, whether in a school, childcare, or similar setting, would be beneficial but is not essential.

This role would be ideal for individuals considering a future career in teaching, education, or child development, or for those who simply enjoy helping children thrive and reach their full potential.
