Classroom Teacher ( SEND ) - SEMH
We are currently recruiting for a Classroom Teacher to join a specialist SEMH school in the Dover area , supporting pupils aged 8-17 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs and associated conditions such as ADHD and ASD.
This school provides a structured, therapeutic learning environment where smaller class sizes and strong staff support allow teachers to focus on building positive relationships and helping pupils re-engage with education.
This role would suit either an experienced SEN teacher or a mainstream teacher looking to transition into specialist education .

The Role

Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs

Teach small classes with additional classroom support staff

Support pupils' academic progress as well as their emotional development

Create a calm, structured and positive learning environment

Work closely with support staff and pastoral teams to support pupil progress

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

A passion for supporting pupils with additional needs

Strong relationship-building skills

Resilient, patient and adaptable approach
