Job Title: Clean Room Operative

Location: Mansfield, NG19 Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm Rotating or Sunday to Thursday 10pm-6am Job Type: Full-time / Temporary to Permanent Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts (6am–2pm / 2pm–10pm) or permanent nights (10pm–6am)

About the Role

We are recruiting for a Clean Room Operative to work within a controlled production environment. This is a hands-on, physical role focused on quality, precision, and process adherence.

Key Responsibilities

Clean Room Duties

* Loading tools into trays using simple, easy-to-use machine programs

* Checking paperwork to ensure accuracy and traceability

* Carrying out quality inspections to identify defects or chips

* Verifying quantities before processing

Machine Operation

* Operating coating machines (full training provided)

* Loading parts into machines for a 5-hour automated cycle

* Monitoring processes involving vacuum sealing, heating, and plasma coating

Inspection & Quality Control

* Inspecting tools for minute defects or imperfections

* Working to high-volume targets (up to 80,000 tools per week)

* Maintaining strict cleanliness and quality standards

Storage & Handling

* Transferring completed tools into heated storage areas to maintain cleanliness

* Able to follow strict processes and procedures

* Reliable with a strong work ethic

* Able to work rotating shifts or nights
