Job Description A Cleaning Team Leader, who will oversee the provision of cleanliness across our property portfolio and monitor, assess and develop staff performance to support the Companys operation.
Working with the Facilities Services Manager and Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for the high level of cleaning provided by our team of cleaners. You will ensure that work is completed in a timely manner, to a high standard and that all tasks comply with Health and Safety guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of team management, as performance and development of staff is a crucial part of this role.
This position is offered on a part time basis, our night shifts follow 7 nights on 7 nights off pattern Monday to Sunday, which is followed by a full 7 nights off.
A typical night shift will require you to work Monday 18:0003:30 and Tuesday to Sunday 18:0003:00, immediate start dates are available following the completion of our recruitment process.
Successful applicants will be required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the UK from their first day of employment.
Qualifications Professional cleaning experience.
Full understanding of COSHH.
Experience in the performance and development of staff.
Excellent communication skills.
Efficient and effective team management skills.
Understanding of Health and Safety guidelines and expectations.
Basic computer skills would be preferred.
Ability to work as part of a team or independently.
Additional Information Undertaking weekly stock checks.
Following agreed cleaning policies and procedures.
Communicating issues and concerns to management.
Reviewing your teams work practices and environment.
Storing and using chemicals in a safe manner.
Following all PPE guidelines.
Assisting with the recruitment of new team members where required.
