Role Summary: This is an excellent opportunity to join Sovereign Network Group as a Clerk of Works working within the Property Maintenance & Technical Assurance team. You'll ensure construction quality and compliance across major retrofit and planned works projects, including those funded by the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF). This role combines office work, site inspections, and remote working.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Inspection & Quality Monitoring

Conduct regular inspections of works across SHDF and Planned Works sites

Ensure works meet design specifications, building regulations, and contractual requirements

Maintain thorough records and audit trails for internal and external review

Log reports and issue non-compliance notices when necessary

Technical Support & Project Liaison

Provide on-site guidance to contractors on technical and quality standards

Support best practices in energy efficiency and sustainable construction

Work with project teams and customers to explain retrofit benefits and ensure clear communication
