Valtech is seeking a Client Partner with deep automotive sector expertise to own and expand a multi‑million‑pound portfolio of automotive clients. The role requires 10+ years of senior client relationship experience, a growth mindset, and a proven ability to drive revenue growth and strategic transformation across digital experience, commerce, data/AI and enterprise transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Build, nurture and elevate relationships with senior automotive stakeholders, including C‑suite leaders, transformation directors and heads of digital/commerce.
Act as the senior strategic partner and trusted advisor for key client relationships, providing clear, strategic direction and helping clients navigate digital, technology and organisational transformation.
Interpret complex client challenges and shape future‑facing digital roadmaps, ensuring alignment with Valtech’s capabilities across experience, commerce, data & AI and enterprise transformation.
Lead executive‑level governance, steerco forums and high‑stakes conversations with clarity and authority.
Own the commercial performance of the automotive account portfolio—forecasting, revenue management, profitability and long‑term planning.
Identify and pursue new growth opportunities within existing accounts, including multi‑year programmes and cross‑disciplinary propositions.
Lead and influence new business opportunities by shaping compelling proposals, win strategies and executive‑level presentations.
Work with Marketing, Business Development and the Automotive Vertical leadership to strengthen Valtech’s presence in the automotive market.
Own and lead account strategy planning—defining priorities, shaping vision and aligning cross‑functional teams behind a shared roadmap.
Collaborate with strategy, design, technology, data and engineering teams to craft solutions that drive measurable business impact for automotive clients.
Work hand‑in‑hand with delivery leadership to ensure programmes are successfully shaped, mobilised and governed, anticipating risks and designing governance models.
Work in close partnership with delivery leads to ensure high‑quality execution across all engagements.
Provide guidance and escalation support as needed to guarantee client satisfaction and successful programme outcomes.
Champion a culture of excellence, continuous improvement and shared ownership across multidisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of senior client relationship experience within automotive, at C‑suite and enterprise level.
Strong track record working with automotive clients—OEMs, mobility providers, dealers or Tier‑1 suppliers—delivering digital, commerce or transformation initiatives.
Experience managing multi‑million revenue portfolios and leading account planning, forecasting and development.
Strong commercial acumen, ability to shape value‑driven proposals and negotiate strategic engagements.
Proven ability to develop deep, trust‑based relationships with senior client stakeholders.
Excellent communicator, capable of presenting compelling narratives and guiding executive‑level conversations.
Comfortable working across a global matrix organisation, bringing together experts from strategy, design, tech and data.
Strong understanding of automotive industry trends, mobility disruptions, digital platforms and emerging technologies shaping the automotive landscape.
