Brook Street is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and growing freight and logistics business in Belfast to recruit a Customs & Freight Administrator to join their Client Operations team.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with freight forwarding experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and wants to play a key role in managing international shipments from start to finish.The RoleYou will take ownership of client shipments, ensuring smooth coordination from booking through to dispatch, in line with customer requirements and service expectations.ResponsibilitiesManage customs processes, including completion of export declarationsCoordinate export bookings with shipping lines to meet target ETAsTrack shipments across multiple platforms and provide updatesPrepare and submit Bills of Lading (manual and online)Process applications for veterinary/export certificationUpdate and maintain records within SAP and internal systemsAccurately input shipment data and maintain spreadsheetsEnsure all documentation and records are compliant and up to dateCriteria2-3 years' experience in freight forwarding or logisticsStrong understanding of customs procedures and export documentationProficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with SAP is an advantage)Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlinesHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to work to KPIs in a fast-moving environmentBenefitsSalary can be disclosed on application Stable, full-time position with a reputable logistics companyOpportunity to develop your skills within a supportive teamIf you're ready to take the next step in your Freight / Logistics career, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today by submitting your CV to Colleen Farquharson via the application link.Brook Street NMR is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.JBRP1_UKTJ
