Clinical Innovation Lead
New Today
Location: UK (London)
Team: Clinical Operations (Global)
Reporting to: Clinical Director
Employment Type: Full-Time
More than 1 billion people globally live with obesity, a significant leading indicator of many preventable chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart disease.
Eucalyptus is the company behind Juniper , one of the world’s largest weight management programs combining GLP-1 medication with a tailored nutrition and exercise programme, supported by our multidisciplinary care team of prescribers, health coaches, dietitians, nurses and pharmacists.
Our published clinical research demonstrates that our combined approach to weight management and lifestyle change increases the likelihood of our patients losing significant weight during their treatment with Juniper by four times.
Since launching, we’ve grown fast to support millions of patients. In the last 12 months:
- We grew the size of our patient base by 10x in the UK, received selective NICE endorsement for our holistic approach to obesity management, and grew our team from 50 to 200.
- Globally, we grew revenue by >120% YoY, while reducing cash burned by 90% YoY, with over $100M USD raised from global investors such as BOND, NewView, Blackbird and Airtree - early backers of companies like Canva, Stripe, Uber and Airbnb.
What’s next?
In 2025, we are charting the path to support hundreds of thousands of patients while launching into new conditions, demographics, and geographies as we move towards our vision of creating a preventive healthcare ecosystem.
We’re building the world’s largest international digital healthcare company. This will be highly challenging, very rewarding and the adventure of a lifetime, working with the best operators you will ever encounter.
If that gets you excited, let’s talk!

About the Role
We’re looking for a clinician with strong analytical, strategic, and translational skills to join our team and work alongside the Clinical Director on high-impact initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of clinical evidence, product strategy, and innovation, with a focus on emerging diagnostics, AI readiness, and commercial opportunity identification.
You’ll lead the development of our clinical knowledge base for diagnostics, guide new product development, and support strategic decisions with high-quality clinical insights. You will also play a key role in identifying and evaluating new therapeutic areas, technologies, and research that could shape the future direction of the business.
In this role, you will:
- Build and maintain the clinical frameworks underpinning our preventive health offering, biomarker interpretation models and new diagnostic tools
- Evaluate new diagnostics, biomarkers, therapeutics, and health technologies for clinical efficacy, commercial relevance, and integration feasibility
- Partner with Product, AI and Engineering teams to support clinical logic development and the safe implementation of AI-driven features
- Proactively identify research findings, innovations, B2B or partnership opportunities that align with our care domains and strategic priorities
- Translate clinical research and market developments into strategic recommendations and briefings for executive leadership
- Produce high-quality evidence reviews, clinical white papers, internal strategy notes, and other artefacts that drive product and business planning
- Support operational and clinical optimisation initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and commercial performance
- Contribute to our research strategy, including opportunities for real-world evidence generation and publication
About You
You are a clinician who thrives in fast-paced, forward-thinking environments. You’re energised by applying your clinical knowledge in new and innovative ways and excited to shape the future of care delivery and diagnostics.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Clinically rigorous, with strong training and comfort navigating medical literature, biomarkers, and health technologies
- Strategic and commercially minded, able to balance evidence, feasibility, and impact in identifying opportunities
- Self-directed and autonomous, capable of owning end-to-end work and delivering outcomes in ambiguous or evolving areas
- Collaborative, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work across clinical, product, engineering, and leadership teams
- Future-focused, with curiosity about where clinical practice, research, and technology are headed — and a desire to help shape it through preventive and precision care
Experience Required
- Medical degree; MPH, PhD, MRCGP or relevant higher qualifications preferred but not essential
- Minimum 3–5 years’ clinical experience, ideally with exposure to preventive health, digital health, or diagnostics
- Demonstrated ability to appraise clinical evidence and translate findings into actionable insights or strategy
- Experience working on cross-functional teams in product, innovation, policy, or research
- Familiarity with AI/ML in healthcare, medical devices, or regulatory frameworks (e.g. MHRA, GDPR) is highly desirable
- Help lead clinical innovation at one of the fastest-growing digital health companies in the region
- Shape the design and delivery of next-generation diagnostics and personalised care products
- Work closely with the Clinical Director and senior leadership on high-impact, strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with exceptional clinicians, technologists, researchers, and product leaders
- Flexible, remote-friendly work environment with competitive remuneration and leave policies
