The Role

The Clinical Operations Manager / Lead will oversee and deliver clinical programmes across early and late-stage oncology studies. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing, mission-driven biotech at a formative stage, shaping the clinical operations strategy and execution framework.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, start-up, execution, and delivery of oncology clinical trials. Manage CROs, vendors, and clinical sites, ensuring quality and on-time delivery. Drive all aspects of study start-up, including site feasibility, selection, activation, and essential documentation. Develop and implement clinical operations strategies, budgets, and SOPs. Collaborate cross-functionally with translational science, regulatory, and programme teams to align operational goals. Build scalable systems and processes for efficient trial management and oversight.

Ideal Candidate

Degree in Life Sciences or related field. Proven experience in clinical operations within biotech or pharma, including 3+ years in a leadership role. Strong background in oncology and/or cell therapy is necessary. Demonstrated expertise in study start-up and clinical trial execution. Skilled in vendor management, project planning, and cross-functional collaboration. Hands-on, proactive leader with exceptional communication and organisational skills.
