Job Description
Job Title: Cloud Architect
Location: London, UK ( 3 days a week Work from the office.)
Job Type: Permanent
Experience:
10+ years of technical experience, with at least 5+ years in cloud architecture design
Role Overview:
In this role, you will work closely with product engineering and product management to develop and deliver agile and cost-effective cloud hosting solutions for the organization’s tech products. You will be expected to optimize architecture for scalability, portability, and high performance on public cloud platforms.
The organization is building technology that can think, learn, and empower. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a product designed for industry disruption. The incumbent will be a key decision-maker in all aspects of tech design—from servers to services.
Roles and Responsibilities
Plan and manage cloud strategy for the organization’s products
Identify, recommend, and implement cloud architecture solutions that effectively meet the company's needs
Monitor and evaluate performance of implemented solutions, identify bottlenecks, and make architectural decisions
Work with cloud service providers and shortlist services of interest
Collaborate with IT security teams to monitor and maintain the organization's cloud privacy and address technical issues
Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and security standards
Develop and implement cloud governance policies and procedures
Prerequisites:
Strong understanding of design patterns and cloud server technology
Strong experience in containerization and DevOps including CI/CD pipelines
Working knowledge of human interaction design
Balanced mindset regarding functional and architectural decisions
Experience in Agile development environments
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Science and/or Engineering from a premier institution
