CMM Programmer / Quality Inspector

Mazco Recruitment is partnering with a leading precision engineering manufacturer in Portsmouth to recruit an experienced CMM Programmer / Quality Inspector. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, high-specification engineering environment working across complex components for demanding industries.

The Role

You will play a key part in ensuring high-quality, right-first-time production through both CMM programming/operation and hands-on manual inspection.
Responsibilities include:

*

Programming and operating CMM equipment, including LK Altera C Coordinate Measurement Machines

*

Using Aberlink, Faro Arm and other metrology software/systems

*

Carrying out first-off inspection, in-process checks, and final inspection

*

Performing manual inspection using micrometers, verniers, height gauges, shadowgraphs, etc.

*

Supporting a busy quality department in a fast-paced precision manufacturing environment

*

Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and GD&T

About You

We’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running with:

*

Proven experience as a CMM Programmer, Metrology Engineer, or Quality Inspector

*

Strong ability to programme and operate CMMs (Aberlink, LK, Faro Arm or similar)

*

Solid understanding of quality standards and inspection methods

*

Confidence working independently and within a team
