Hourly Rate: £16.80 per hour
Shift: 6am to 2.30pm (Monday to Thursday), 6am to 11.30am (Friday)

About the Role:

A well established Aerospace company are seeking a skilled CNC Grinder to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting, operating CNC Grinding machines to produce high-precision components, ensuring all parts meet engineering specifications. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate documentation, supporting quality standards through SPC and self-inspection, and contributing to continuous improvement while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Use gauges, micrometers and shadow graphs to ensure parts conform to drawings
Self-certify personal work
Prove out programs to ensure timings meet manufacturing and quality standards
Keep all computer files and manual paperwork accurate and up to date
Produce SPC charts and records
Maintain housekeeping to the highest standards
Ensure all quality procedures are followed, taking an active role in root cause analysis

About You:

Experience operating RSS and Okuma machinery preferred, or external grinding experience
Experience working within a busy manufacturing environment
Experience setting grinding machines
