CNC Grinder Leicester Permanent £16.50 - £18.50 DOE + shift allowance Nights

EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a CNC Grinder to join a precision engineering company located in Leicester working on a permanent basis.

Due to the nature of the markets our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents, and DBS checks will be required. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Your responsibilities include:

* Set up and run machines to meet customer specifications

* Read and interpret engineering drawings and ensure parts are manufactured in line with quality requirements

* Use manual measuring equipment such as verniers, calipers, micrometres, etc, to ensure parts meet customer requirements

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate: ​

* Strong experience within a machining role

* Able to operate CNC Grinding machines or manual machines

* Previously worked with precision engineering components (aerospace, automotive, defence, etc)

* Confidence in performing self-inspection of parts using manual measuring equipment

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (Metric or Imperial)
