Laser Setter / Operator - Amada Machinery Northampton | £13.50 - £14.50 per hour | Day Shift | Permanent Are you an experienced Laser Setter / Operator with strong knowledge of Amada machinery and a passion for precision sheet metal work? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering business in Northampton for a skilled Laser Setter / Operator to set, operate, and monitor Amada CNC laser or punch/laser combination machines. You'll play a key role in producing high-quality components safely, efficiently, and in line with production and quality standards. What you'll be doing: Set up, operate, and adjust Amada CNC laser and punch/laser combination machines Read and interpret engineering drawings and job instructions Carry out first-off, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring equipment Monitor production runs to ensure quality, efficiency, and output targets are achieved Perform routine preventive maintenance, machine checks, and basic fault finding Safely load and unload sheet materials and finished parts Ensure all components meet dimensional and quality requirements Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment Follow all health & safety, quality, and company procedur...
