About us:
Thomas Brown Engineering are a sub-contract, precision machining company based in Huddersfield. Established in 1982 we manufacture precision-made components to the highest standards.
We are seeking to expand our team and require a CNC machine operative.
About the role:
In this role, you'll play an important part in supporting our production across different areas of the business. If you have experience of operating CNC machinery in a precision workshop environment, and welcome variety in your day-to-day role then this position could be for you.
Key duties:
Operating machinery, including CNC machines, to ensure smooth running of batch work. You will need experience of CNC operating and will work alongside our programmer/setters Confidently use measuring equipment to check parts as they are manufactured to ensure tolerances are maintained and alert setters when amendments to programmes are required Part of the role will be supporting other functions in the machine shop.
