Baltic Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with The Danesmoor Group, a company based in Newton Aycliffe. We are supporting them in their recruitment for a CNC Machine Operator (Worksurfaces) to join their busy team.

PWS Worksurfaces offers a full range of profiles and processes to suit exacting, detailed requirements. Consistently supplying retail, contract and commercial sectors via a network of templaters and fitters, PWS Worksurfaces services both supply only, or template and install.
Overview
The successful candidate will work within their fast-paced Worksurfaces production facility. The successful candidate will receive on-site training to ensure they are equipped with all the skills required to undertake their role to the highest standard.
Candidates must be competent in CNC machine setting, operating and maintenance and have transferable skills from their previous employment.
CNC Machine Operator Main Duties & Responsibilities:
CNC Machine operating.
Quality checking and ensuring parts are built to tolerance.
Checking parts.
Heavy lifting.
Maintain good housekeeping.
Fast-paced environment.CNC Machine Operator Applicants:
Previous CNC machining experience.
Strong organisational skills and being able to work to deadlines.
Accuracy.
Eye for detail.
Ability to work within a team.
Understand working instructions.Initially working 8.30am until 5pm for your first 1-2 weeks for training. Before, moving onto a 2-shift pattern (6am-2pm - Mon-Fri & 2pm-10.30pm - Mon-Thurs & 2pm-8pm - Fri), with the opportunity for overtime when required.
Day Shift hourly rate: £13.13
2-Shift hourly rate: £15.10 (inclusive of a 15% shift allowance)
