CNC Machinist - F1 - weekend nights

As a CNC Machinist, you’ll be responsible for producing high-precision, complex metallic components used in elite motorsport applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture critical powertrain components to tight tolerances using CNC milling machines
  • Set and operate multi-axis CNC machines efficiently and safely
  • Interpret complex engineering drawings and 3D models
  • Conduct in-process inspection to ensure the highest quality standards
  • Collaborate with cell leaders and manufacturing teams to meet production deadlines
  • Follow ERP processes, ensuring accurate job tracking and documentation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and adhere to strict health & safety standards

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist (Milling)
  • Strong background with multi-axis CNC machines (ideally DMG MORI)
  • Experience using Fanuc controls / NC programming
  • Familiarity with Renishaw probing systems
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and CAD models (e.g. Siemens NX)
  • Experience producing high-spec, low-volume precision components
  • High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Desirable:

  • Motorsport, aerospace, or high-performance engineering background
  • Experience working with tight tolerances and exotic materials
