CNC Miller / CNC Programmer Setter Operator
Location:Nottingham / Derby area
Salary:£17.00 £18.00 per hour
Hours:40 hours per week
Employment:Permanent
Experienced CNC Miller required to program, set and operate XYZ (Prototrak controls) or 3axis CNC Mills , producing precision components within a well-established engineering company offering an early finish every Friday.

CNC Miller Role Overview
A well-established precision engineering subcontract manufacturer is looking to recruit aCNC Miller / CNC Programmer Setter Operatorto join their busy CNC machining team.
The role involvesprogramming, setting and operating CNC milling machines, primarilyXYZ CNC Mills using Prototrak controls, producing precision machined components from engineering drawings.
This role would suit an experiencedCNC Miller, CNC Milling Machinist or CNC Programmerwith strong experience in3-axis CNC machiningwithin a precision engineering environment.
CNC Milling Responsibilities
  • Programming, setting and operatingCNC milling machines
  • Machining components using3-axis CNC milling machines
  • Working withXYZ CNC Mills using Prototrak controls
  • Editing and adjusting CNC programs
  • Selecting tooling and setting machine offsets
  • Reading and interpretingengineering drawings
  • Producing precision components to tight tolerances
  • Carrying outin-process inspection using measuring equipment

Machines & Controls
  • Experience with any of the following would be beneficial:
  • XYZ CNC Mills Prototrak
  • Brother CNC machining centres Fanuc controls
  • Haas CNC milling machines
  • -axis CNC machining
  • Exposure to4-axis or 5-axis machiningadvantageous

Working Hours
  • Monday Thursday:7:30am 4:30pm
  • Friday:7:30am 12:30pm (early finish)
