The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced
CNC Machinist Operator
to join the team at their North Surrey workshop. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machinery to produce precision components for bespoke joinery projects. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for high-quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Operate, program, and set up CNC machines (primarily woodworking CNC routers) to produce components according to technical drawings and project specifications.
Interpret CAD drawings and technical plans to ensure precise machining.
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CNC machinery.
Work closely with joiners, project managers, and design teams to ensure seamless production and high standards are met.
Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment.
Ensure health and safety standards are followed at all times.
Requirements
Proven experience operating CNC machinery in a joinery, woodworking, or manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and technical specifications.
Strong understanding of CNC programming
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Experience working on bespoke or high-end joinery projects is highly desirable.
