Aspired talent are looking for an CNC Machinist (Turner) for our client in Manchester.Hours are 8am till 430pm Monday to Thursday and 730am till 3pm Friday.As a CNC Machinist, you have responsibility of programming, setting and operating CNC lathes in the Machine Shop DepartmentResponsibilities• Plans machining by studying work orders, engineering drawings, materials, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances.• Programs machines by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs• Sets-up machines by installing and adjusting chucks, collet chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, stops, and bar feeders etc.• Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces, adhering to company production, quality standards and procedures.• Maintains specifications by observing machining operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.• Maintains safe operations by adhering to health and safety procedures and regulations.• Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; speaking to line manag...
