Job Opportunity: CNC Machinist
Full-Time | Thanet | Monday to Friday | £14-£16 per hour
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Machinist. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and precise production of components across a wide range of products and materials. The work will include both one-off custom parts and batch production, with varied tolerances.
We're looking for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a responsible attitude toward safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities (subject to experience):

Set up, run, and monitor CNC lathes and/or milling machines. *
Perform regular checks to monitor Machine Shop efficiency and output. *
Conduct visual and functional pre-use checks on equipment. *
Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout the manufacturing process. *
Inspect finished work pieces to ensure conformance to drawings and specifications. *
Accurately record work activities and production details.
Qualifications & Skills:
*
Proven experience operating CNC machinery, particularly lathes and/or milling machines. *
Proficient in using CNC tooling and precision measurement instruments. *
Comfortable working in both metric and imperial units. *
Strong understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing data. *
Excellent attention to detail and a quality-driven mindset. *
Good communication skills and a proactive work ethic.
