CNC Machinist- Double Days A recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Engineeringdepartment with the appointment of a CNC Machinist. Working from their manufacturing facility in Shropshire,the CNC Machinistwill be responsible for: Online Programming & operating of CNC machinery Selection of tooling and set up- Cutter and holders Selection and set up of work piece holding devices- Set up fixtures/vices/clamping systems Interpret engineering drawings to determine machining requirements Monitoring of machines performance, making adjustments to program data (Speeds, Feeds etc) In process and Post process inspection using both visual and precision measuring tool methods Operation of Heidenhain /Fanuc CNC Control systems Create components within specification to engineering drawings Work with programming team to feedback information for machining programme efficiency improvements Support in all aspects of Fixture assembly cell manufacturing.
