CNC Machinist

Our client based near Gillingham is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist - ideally milling - Haas machines, who will spend part of the week working as an Inspector.

Salary: Top rates paid depending on skill level + overtime

Hours: Hours to suit as the company run 24 hours

Basic Hours: 40 pw

Location: near Gillingham

This will be a dual role working as Inspector on Monday and Friday and machining at all other times.

The starting rate is negotiable depending on your skill level - anyone interested in the role may be offered a day's trial so you can meet the team and see the company at work.

The company work a standard 40 hour week but do offer regular overtime (subject to workload)

The CNC Machinist Inspector:

• Capable of setting and operation CNC machine centres - 5 axis (Haas)

• Offline programming experience an advantage

• Programming Haas CNC machinery, Mastercam software - desirable

• Aerospace industry experience would be ideal

• Able to work in a variety of materials - aluminium, stainless steel, titanium etc

• The work is varied - prototypes, one off production and small batch work.

• First off inspection

• In process inspection

• First article
