As our representation expands, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Turner and/or CNC Millerto join the team on a permanent basis.
Working Hours:
Monday-Friday 7:30-4:00pm
Position Overview: We are looking for a CNC TurnerAND/OR CNC Millerwho is proficient in programming, setting up, and operating CNC Mills 3axis and/or 2 axis lathes). The ideal candidate will have experience working with Prototrak (Lathes and Mills) and Heidenhain controls (Mills).They will play a crucial role in themanufacturing process, ensuring high-quality production and meeting strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Versed within reverse engineering and repairs within a mixture of medium to heavy environments.
The ability to look at a repair project and decide on the best methods for work holding and machining.
Select and install cutting tools, adjust tool offsets, and make necessary machine adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
Interpret and modify CNC programs as needed to optimize machining processes and minimize cycle times.
Perform regular machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations and prevent downtime.
Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a CNC Miller and/or Turner with proficiency in programming, setting, and operating mills or lathes
Proficiency with XYZ Prototrak or Heidenain controls is required.
Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling selection, and cutting parameters.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T symbols.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
