We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Miller/ Programmer to join our clients dynamic team in the heart of Birmingham with excellent transport links and working hours. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and optimizing CNC programs for our Mill machines to produce high-quality precision parts.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about machining and have a strong background in CNC Milling and programming.

CNC Miller/ Programmer Responsibilities:
Develop CNC programs for Milling machines based on engineering drawings, specifications, and job orders. (CAD/CAM)
Set up and operate CNC Milling machines, ensuring proper tooling, fixturing, and workpiece alignment.
Conduct thorough testing and simulation of CNC programs to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and enhance productivity.
Monitor machine performance, identify issues, and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC Milling machines.
CNC Miller/ Programmer Requirements:

Proven experience as a CNC Milling Programmer or similar role.
Proficiency in CNC miller/ programmer languages; Heidenhain
Strong knowledge of Milling machine operations, including setup, tooling, and workpiece alignment.
Familiarity with precision measurement tools and techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
