CNC Miller – Programmer/Setter

Location: Leeds

Pay: £18.40 - £20.70 per hour (DOE)

Shifts: 2pm - Midnight, Mon - Thu

We’re supporting a long‑established precision engineering business in Leeds as they look to add experienced CNC Millers to their team. This is a stable, well‑equipped machine shop with modern CNC machinery and a strong order book, offering long‑term security and progression.

The Role

Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines (Fanuc controls preferred)

Producing high‑precision milled components to tight tolerances

Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings

Carrying out in‑process inspection to maintain quality standards

Working closely with production, engineering and quality teams

Keeping your work area safe, clean and efficient

What We’re Looking For

Strong CNC milling programming and setting experience

Confident working directly from technical drawings

A proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement

Ability to work independently and take ownership of your machine
