The role will involve working from engineering drawings to produce high precision components, ensuring all work meets quality and delivery requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesProgramming, setting and operating CNC milling machines using Siemens controls Producing components to tight tolerances from engineering drawings Selecting appropriate tooling, speeds and feeds Carrying out in-process inspection using manual measuring equipment Editing and proving out programmes at the machine Ensuring machines are running efficiently and safely Maintaining a clean and organised working environment in line with 5S standardsRequirementsProven experience as a CNC Miller (programmer / setter / operator) Strong experience using Siemens controls Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience working to tight tolerances within a precision engineering environment Competent using manual inspection equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges) Self-motivated with a strong attention to detailDesirableExperience with 3, 4 or 5 axis machining Offline programming experience Experience working within ISO quality environmentsIDNWINOur clients and their customers come from diverse backgrounds and so do we.
