Winsearch are currently working with a well-established precision engineering business in the Oldham area who are looking to strengthen their machining team with the addition of an experienced CNC Miller. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable business with a strong order book, modern machinery and plenty of overtime available for those looking to maximise their earnings. The Role You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines using Siemens controls. The role will involve working from engineering drawings to produce high precision components, ensuring all work meets quality and delivery requirements. Key Responsibilities Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines using Siemens controls Producing components to tight tolerances from engineering drawings Selecting appropriate tooling, speeds and feeds Carrying out in-process inspection using manual measuring equipment Editing and proving out programmes at the machine Ensuring machines are running efficiently and safely Maintaining a clean and organised working environment in line with 5S standards Requirements Proven experience as a CNC Miller (programmer / setter ...
