An established engineering company is currently seeking an experienced Manual Machine Operator to join its production team. This is a stable, long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on machining and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
The Role
Youll be operating a range of manual machines to produce components from engineering drawings, working independently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Operate manual machinery, including centre lathes, vertical millers, radial arm drills, pedestal drills, band saws and associated hand tools
Read and work from machining drawings
Use measuring and inspection equipment to ensure quality
Maintain machines and keep a clean, safe work area
Assist with fitting and tooling work as required
What Were Looking For
Proven experience as a manual machinist or machine operator
